Description

The system PB 250 with the hardener SD 5604 is a formula of epoxy foam developed for the production of low density foam. The final density of the foam depends only on the initial choice of resin.

This system gives a white foam but can be colored with the help of compatible pigment epoxy. Combined with hardener SD 5604 the epoxy foam PB 250 obtains foams with densities around 280kg/m3. The mixes are made very easily with a very simple and tolerant mix ratio of 1 to 1 per volume.

The mix evolves in two stages:

  • Rapid expansion of the casting, indepedent of hardener.
  • Slow hardening of the mass.


Specifications:

  • No manipulation of hollow microspheres
  • Adhesions to many supports
  • Accepts wet supports
  • Recasting of epoxy resin during hardening.
  • Excellent density homogeneity

Applications:

  • Production of epoxy foam
  • Core materials for sandwich casting
  • Volume of floatability
  • Foam and honeycomb densification
  • Bonding of foams, wood and porous construction materials
  • Thermic insulation


PHYSICAL PROPERTIES:

  • Mixing ratio per weight: 100 / 90
  • Mixing ratio per volume: 1 / 1
  • Reactivity: STANDARD
  • Tg1 max:  60 °C

AVAILABLE KITS :

  • 0.95 Kg of mix (resin 0.5 Kg + hardener 0.45 Kg)

Produit très simple à utiliser et super qualité. Le produit sèche en 6h...donc on a largement le temps de l'appliquer. Rapport 1 pour 1 pour le durcisseur. Top à recommander sans hésiter. Merci

Fixation US box sur planche de SUP foil

Parfait pour remettre de nouveaux US box de Foil suite à une casse après rencontre d'un obstacle en vol ! Coulage de l'époxy moussante dans les cavités laissées par l'extraction des boitiers cassés. Les US box sont TRÈS solidement scellées dans le flotteur. La mousse produite a une excellente résistance à l'écrasement. Mise à niveau facile au rabot Surform avant pose de 2 tissus de taffetas carbone en 200g. Attention à soigneusement isoler les accessoires de pose que vous ne voulez pas voir collés (comme ma plaque de contreplaqué de support et d'alignement des rails !) ! La mousse PB 250 est très adhérente !
