Description

Hollow phenolic microspheres with low density.
Easier to mix into resin than Whitecell, non-dusting.
Easy application (smoothness, homogeneity, ease of spreading) and easy sanding.
Structural applications: syntactic foams.

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES:

Low density: 250 g / liter (measured by liquid displacement)
Color: Rust (non-contractual color)
Shape: Hollow microspheres
Particle diameter: Approximately 90 microns
Moisture content: Less than 4% by weight
Odor: Odorless
Compressive strength: 3.4 MPa – 34 bar – 500 psi
Abrasion resistance: Low, excellent sandability of filled resins
Fire resistance: Good. Carbonizes at 1000 °C
Resin compatibility: Epoxy, polyurethane, polyester, phenolic, (meth)acrylates
