ISOBOND SR 740 + SD 746 - Structural Epoxy Adhesive for Thick Bond Lines

The ISOBOND SR 740 – SD 746 system is a next-generation structural epoxy adhesive developed for bonding applications requiring high mechanical strength and excellent durability.

Designed to create bond lines up to 25 mm thick, this system combines high toughness, shear strength and excellent fatigue resistance, making it particularly suitable for assemblies subjected to dynamic loads or significant structural stresses.

Thanks to its optimized formulation, ISOBOND SR 740 – SD 746 provides effective bonding to a wide range of materials: composites, wood, metals and hybrid structures. It is also widely used to create structural fillet joints, particularly in the composites industry, marine construction and technical structures.

The fast-reacting SD 746 hardener provides a working time of approximately 30 minutes at 20 °C and allows rapid clamping during assembly operations.

The system is supplied in a 400 ml two-component cartridge (2:1 ratio), allowing clean, precise and fast application using a suitable dispensing gun and mixing nozzle.
